Tales Past Midnight is a personal book blog originally created by Laurel in 2017 as Cliste Bella in WordPress then moved over to Blogspot. Due to a lot of life changes, Laurel decided to move back to WordPress in 2019 and to rebrand her blog into Tales Past Midnight.

Laurel hopes to be able to create a small space on the web where she can make a small difference for her and other international bloggers. You can find her other crazy posts below.

LAUREL MYRTH

Hi! I’m Laurel, a 30ish (LOL) Mom from a small island country in Southeast Asia – the Philippines. I am mostly known by my friends for my love of the color purple (obsessed level).

I work as an operations representative (a fancy word for call center agent) in one of the biggest banking companies in the US (can’t disclose which). I’ve been taking in customer service or tech support phone calls for the past 6 years now.

I got into blogging in 2007, the year after I got my degree in English Literature and when we finally got our own internet connection at home. I have started and ended a lot of different blogs; after 10 years, I decided to really take my blogging seriously, and here I am today.

Outside of work and being a blogger, I am a momma to 2 boys – my eldest son is currently 16 years old while my youngest just turned 7. I am also a fur mom to a stinky aspin named Max. One other thing about me is that I like collecting postage stamps. This goes back to my childhood when snail mail was still a thing and my parents always got mail from other countries.
